Walnut's School District Honored for High Number of Minority Graduates

Walnut Valley Unified School District has the fourth highest graduation rate for African-American and Latino students in all school districts in California, experts said.

Walnut Valley Unified School District has been recognized for having the 4th highest graduation rate for African-American and Latino students in all school districts in California.

Walnut Valley also received an “A” Graduation Grade - scoring 90 percent and above in the report issued in The Education Trust-West California Report Card.

“We are very proud to be acknowledged by The Education Trust-West.  This outstanding graduation rate is the direct result of a commitment to the success of all students in Walnut Valley,” said Superintendent Dr. Bob Taylor.
