Wheel Food Fest to Benefit Walnut, DB Schools

The event, sponsored by the Walnut Valley Educational Foundation, rolls into town Saturday.

Some of the areas most popular gourmet food trucks are confirmed to return to Walnut Valley Unified School District for its WHEEL FOOD FEST on Saturday in a fundraising event sponsored by the Walnut Valley Educational Foundation (WVEF). 

The WHEEL FOOD FEST will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot at the school district offices located at 880 S. Lemon Ave. in Walnut.

The list of confirmed trucks are a foodie fan’s dream and include the very popular Lime Truck, winner of the Food Network’s “Great Food Truck Race – Season 2.” 

Joining the Lime Truck will be a culinary blend of food fusions from Slummin’ Gourmet, who has quickly become a local’s favorite, Jogasaki known for their sushi burritos, My Delight Cupcakery will definitely help you to satisfy that sweet tooth, along with Fresh Fries and Tropical Shaved Ice, all of whom will donate a portion of their sales from the event.

The planned WHEEL FOOD FEST will benefit The Walnut Valley Educational Foundation who donates all proceeds to the Walnut Valley Unified School District.   

The admission donation for the WHEEL FOOD FEST on Saturday, November 17th is $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for students, and children under 5 years old are admitted free. 

Want to get in FREE?  Help support our local Walnut Valley food bank. Bring 2 non-perishable canned or boxed food items as a donation and admission to the Wheel Food Fest is FREE!
