WVUSD API Scores See Small Decrease

Scores for Pomona Unified and Rowland Unified schools that serve Diamond Bar and Walnut also were released.

Walnut Valley Unified School students saw a small decline in Academic Performance Index scores, but continue perform well above the state target, according to data released this week by the California Department of Education.

The district had a score of 908, compared to 909 last year.  The state target for the test is 800.

The state also saw a small dip, going from 791 last year to 789 this year. Overall, 56 percent of elementary schools statewide, 50 percent of middle schools, and 31 percent of high schools are now meeting the 800 target benchmark, officials said.

Below are scores for Walnut Valley Unified School District campuses. The first number is the 2013 score and the second number is for 2012. Information about Pomona Unified and Rowland Unified schools that serve Diamond Bar and Walnut are also included.
