Cordell Broadus, Son of Rapper Snoop Dogg, Leaves Diamond Bar High

Cordell Broadus, son of the rapper Snoop Dogg and a standout wide receiver on the Diamond Bar High School Brahmas football team, is moving on.

The junior, who left the school on Friday, intends to transfer to a larger school in anticipation of a possible college football career, reported the San Gabriel Valley Tribune's sports blog In the Huddle.

“He told me that he wants to play for a bigger school to get him ready for college,” Diamond Bar coach Ryan Maine told In the Huddle. “We’re going to miss his presence at wide receiver. We wish him the best of luck.”
