The U-12 Diamond Bar Comets won the Eagle Classic Soccer Tournament in Rowland Heights this past weekend outscoring the 4 teams they played against by a 16 to 3 margin over the course of the two-day tournament.
The Comets coached by Henry Cheng and Peter Gonzalez-Lee and have played in 5 tournaments since their formation in the early spring.
The Comets are comprised of the best 12-year old soccer players in AYSO Region 31.
While the team finished 2nd twice early in the season, they have since rallied to win the last 3 tournaments in which they have competed running up a winning streak of 13 consecutive games.
