Hundreds of players and their families swarmed Walnut Ranch Park on Saturday for the kickoff of Walnut AYSO Region 624's season.
Teams took the field for the first time, and lined up for pictures.
They also had food from the league's snack bar, as well as Mustache Mike's Italian Ice and a food stand with roasted corn and tacos. AYSO national sponsor Kerrygold handed out samples of their cheeses, and the Ontario Fury set up a booth with information about their upcoming professional indoor soccer season.
The season will continue for the next few weeks.
