WVUSD Hires New Assistant Superintendent

Jeanette Ullrich began her work with the district Monday as the assistant superintendent of business services.

The Walnut Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the hiring of Jeanette Ullrich for the position of Assistant Superintendent of Business Services during the meeting held December 5.

The position became vacant with the retirement of JackLeBrun in June 2012.

In August, the Board approved Colleen Patterson to serve in the interim as the District searched for a permanent replacement.

Jeanette Ullrich brings over 23 years of experience in School Business Administration to her new post.

“I am truly honored to have been selected to lead Walnut Valley in this capacity, and am excited at the opportunity to serve the District and its students in the continued pursuit of educational excellence,” Ullrich said.

She served as the Chief Business Official in the Huntington Beach Union High School District since 2007. Prior to that she was the district’s Director of Fiscal Services from 2002-2007. Ullrich also served as Director of Fiscal Services in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District from 1995-2002.

“We are happy to welcome Jeanette Ullrich to Walnut Valley and look forward to the excellent qualifications and expertise she brings as we deal with the ongoing budget challenges,” said Superintendent Dean Conklin.

Ullrich officially began duties in Walnut Valley on Monday.

I wasn't talking about that, when did that happen, '73? Richard Nixon? That was a colossal waste ofRead More money. Nixon also started the EPA. Not many realize what a worthless Liberal he really was. He also took us off the Gold Standard which was the genesis for out of control gov spending.

How many people in wheelchairs, or blind people walking around have you ever seen in Walnut? I'veRead More lived here since 1968, I haven't seen one, not a single one. I have nothing against the handicapped, I do have a problem with the money it costs to jackhammer up sidewalks, and put ramps that nobody needs, especially 5 feet from a driveway aprin.

How about Hillary's failures: 1) Bill cheated on her 2) She was beat out for President by a Negro.Read More That is sure to "get" southern crackers like the Clintons, no matter how liberal they are. 3) Through incompetence, she is responsible for the deaths in Benghazi and covered it up.

You are so cynical, Hillary is awesome! She enabled the North Koreans to test a nuclear bomb withoutRead More consequences, turned Egypt into a hostile nation supporting the Moslem Brotherhood, supported the overthrow of Khadaffy in Libya, which is a paradise of Democracy now- take a romantic tour of Benghazi to prove it. Your nasty comments might bring on another fainting spell! "I declare, can a gentlemen get a lady a lemonade and a parasol"
