Independence Day is less than a month away, and Diamond Bar’s celebration this year will be held at Lorbeer Middle School.
The festivities will start at 5 p.m. with a performance by Bumptown. Fireworks will go off starting at 9 p.m., and because of the display, there will be temporary traffic control patterns around Golden Springs Drive and Diamond Bar Boulevard.
The city is also looking for local high school students to help with the event; volunteers must attend either Diamond Bar High or Diamond Ranch High, or live in Diamond Bar, and be available between 4 and 10 p.m.
