Church Pitches in to Repaint Fence at Park

About 80 volunteers from the Diamond Bar Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gathered last week to help the community.

About 80 volunteers from the Diamond Bar Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helped repaint a wall at Ronald Reagan Park last week.

The volunteers, which included members and nonmembers from the congregation, was part of a Community Helping Hands event to benefit the city.

The city had pressured washed three walls at the park, at Pathfinder and Peaceful Hills Road. The volunteers then teamed up to repaint the fence. Due to the amount of volunteers, the job only took 90 minutes.
