First Female Board Chairman Elected in Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center’s History

The Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center recently elected its 2012-2013 board members and officers, and for the first time in the hospital’s 109-year history a woman has been elected Board Chairman.

Jane Goodfellow of Claremont is a longtime volunteer at the hospital.

“I’m very honored to be elected as chairman of the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center’s Board of Directors,” she said.  “It will be a busy year but I look forward to the challenge. As the first female board chairman I especially want to recognize the many capable women – and men – volunteers at Pomona Valley Hospital in every capacity. I feel the hospital is a better place because of them.”

Another member of the PVHMC’s Board of Directors is Diamond Bar resident Jan Paulson.
