Friends of the Diamond Bar Library Postpones Annual 'Read Together' Campaign

The program will be back next year with its new name "One Book, One Diamond Bar."

The Friends of the Diamond Bar Library recently announced that it plans to postpone the annual "Read Together Diamond Bar" campaign this year.

The group plans to bring it back next year with a new name, according to the city's October newsletter.

"The postponement will give the team of volunteers time to revamp the program and bring back next year under its new name 'One Book, One Diamond Bar,' officials wrote in the newsletter.

The aim of the program, to promote literature and strengthen the sense of community by encouraging residents to read the same novel and participate in related activities, will remain the same, organizers said.

The Friends are working on selecting a book and planning next year's themed campaign.
