Walnut couldn't hold on to the lead after half time. With all the excited they had, kick off returns (Rene McGowen), 3rd down stops and big runs. The Mustangs couldn't hold on to their 10-9 lead going into the second half. Bonita scores quick making the score 15-9 after a failed 2 point conversion.
Later in the third Bo High had a block punt, makes multiple sacks and an interception that really brought down the Mustangs confidence. In the fourth quarter Bonita would get the ball and score again making it 22-10 and then puts the nails in the coffin with another TD. Final score was 29-10.
This now makes Walnut 1-1 in league. Diamond Ranch 2-0, Bonita 2-1, Diamond Bar 2-1, Los Altos 1-1, Walnut 1-1, West Covina 1-2 and Rowland 0-3.
