Pomona Fairplex to Host Asian American Expo Saturday and Sunday

The Pomona Fairplex will play host to the Asian American Expo this weekend.

The event is the largest Asian trade show in the United States, according to organizers. More than 100,000 are expected to attend.

It will feature entertainment and Lunar New Year celebrations. YouTube sensation Jason Chen and Meeghan Henry from Girl Radical are among the performers.

The expo goes from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and will include the following:

• 800 exhibitors

• 7 stages with non-stop live entertainment

"The Asian American Expo celebrates the major economic impact of the large and expanding Asian market in Southern California," according to a news release.  "It also shares the living heritage of people of all backgrounds, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Thai, Indonesian, Burmese, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Singaporean." 

The expos will be in Halls 4,5,6, and 7. The Pomona Fairplex is located at 1101 W. McKinley Ave.
