That's pretty neat! Anybody know the background on that little diddy?

Love it!!! Sounds like an ad to get folks to come see DB and purchase a home here. The main reasionRead More I knew it was old was because of the line that talked about NO TRAFFIC! Ha! Now that's a hoot! Anyway, a fitting song for a wonderful community!!

Thanks Bill! That's cool! Vintage Diamond Bar!

W Dog, You are wrong/intentionally lying. There were meters across the street since the 80's, theseRead More are new. The story I linked to explains that. Perhaps you need to improve your reading comprehension skills before you "pop off." You just caught in a lie, how does that make you feel?

Too bad they cannot afford teachers to teach in this new building. BTW, we just all paid ourRead More property taxes. I hope the residents of Walnut read the bill and see how muc h money they are paying for these stupid school bonds. Likely these bonds will be paid off for the next 50 years and will amount to tens of times the original loan. This building likely will have been replaced before its bonds are paid off.

There have been parking meters at MTSAC since the 1960's. All they did is allow MTSAC to allow MORERead More parking on the south side of the street and allow the college to put in meters. You NEVER get your facts straight and pop off over your obsession with being a City Council member. Of course the public will never buy your fraudulent statements. You are simply another Lim puppet.

Hays: Serving the community by promoting perversion. You folks are sick. If you think of theRead More sick things this guy must do with his 'boyfriend', any normal person would puke.
Jim Hays March 1, 2013 at 12:25 am
This comment is so cynical and negative. It entirely overlooks the positive impact Takei isRead More apparently having as well as his courage to admit his sexual orientation publicly. Vito: what have you done to serve the community lately?

Earl Warren championed many wonderful judicial decisions. But, his role in creating these internmentRead More camps will forever stain his legacy.

Thank you West Covina for hosting this event. What better way to honor our Presidents than byRead More celebrating literacy. Great idea.

How could anyone agree with Vito Spago when Vito Spago doesn't even exist. That's right. ThisRead More numbskull doesn't even have the ----- to use his own name. That pretty much sums up his entire life, a life of uselessness.
Lydia Plunk January 8, 2013 at 09:32 pm
Amen. He contributed a great deal to the culture of his adopted state. I understand ChapmanRead More Univeristy has or will have the shows.
Vito Spago January 8, 2013 at 09:24 pm
Looks like the Walnut patch has a new policy regarding name calling. Seems it must be acceptableRead More now since Valden and Blaser were allowed to post in disagreement to my posts. Well they called me a jerk and POS. Well I call them Dickheads. I hope they enjoyed that show that was dumbed down to be able to entertain a 5 year old. I bored me within 5 minutes of watching, but to each his own.

It's because so many people have ruined it. Trying to keep all of those people under control takesRead More Pasadena PD and LASD together for New Year's Eve/Day. Be thankful that you are allowed to sleep on the street and aren't required to purchase tickets for the stands. It's a beautiful parade in person, so enjoy it.

What does Anna's Linens have to do with the Banning/Beaumont area? Has Bed Bath & Beyond, whichRead More has a location here, made any statements regarding this issue? Come on, Patch editors, local, local, local. Aren't there more interesting issues, anyway, than whether or not to sleep in the nude or whether one of the posters above needs rubber sheets as he gets older, apparently.

Nocturnal emissions..sounds better...no time to shower in mornings and i did not want to personify aRead More top song back then..."Come go with me"

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Carol. I guess I'll need to have a fresh box of Kleenex ready when I watchRead More it...
Carol Spencer December 25, 2012 at 10:04 pm
I just saw it this afternoon and it is wonderful - moving, amazing musical the acting was suburb -Read More it is a must see whenever. However, I am glad I saw it at the first showing at the Landmark, Westside Pavillion

I saw Les Misérables in London, in 1985, before the official opening, so I was one of theRead More first people to see this amazing musical. I almost never go to the movies anymore, so I'll wait until the DVD comes out and I'll probably end up buying it.
