Is there insurance on this property. Oftentimes if the place burns down, the insurance policy has…Read More a rebuild clause to bring it up to code. Perhaps if it accidently burned down.... You know, accidents happen. Especially with projects that are hopelessly bogged down.

The people HAVE voted on this- Democrats have controlled CA for 20 years, this is what you get, and…Read More you will see more with AB 32 coming. The low-information voter is the majority now, they WANT $6 gas, high-speed trains that go nowhere costing billions, and they feel Public Union pensions are sacred.

Aqmd is a group of thugs that like to show how much power they have they have chased away and ruined…Read More thousands jobs and businesses in the last 2 decades so i guess it fits its time to ruin the beaches of socal i think it should be voted on by the poeple not a group of thugs from diamond bar that were never voted in

Yes, I suspect this kind of money laundering is much more prevalent in the San Gabriel Valley region…Read More than we realize. I hope the Feds are not stopping with just this case. And aiding international drug traffickers gets you only 14 months, six of those at home? While I rejoice that these two scumbags were caught, the lightweight sentence is just ludicrous.
Vito Spago May 7, 2013 at 11:53 am
Agree. All these mom and pop businesses in this area are very close knit and can involve tax and…Read More other fraud and no one is the wiser. My guess is that services are paid for by cash, barter, or gold/silver coins and jewelry. No paper trail. When your business gets larger, involves outside investors and requires outside auditors, is when you can believe that legitimacy is present.

I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg. Let's get some more of the crooks; don't make…Read More it so easy for them to prosper.

Why does Ontario think it knows how to run an airport? It may not like how LAWA runs it but that…Read More is only because it thinks LAWA favors LAX. That may be so, but there is a lot of knowledge required to know how to run an airport. Where does Ontario expect to get this knowledge? People now go to LAX for cheaper and more direct flights. Can Ontario beat this. They will have to. Hope Ontario management knows how. It is a 'be careful what you ask for' situation.
Concerned Parent May 1, 2013 at 09:34 pm
It used to be a great airport, but every year the parking pricing is going up, making it unfriendly…Read More airport. I bet after the city will get the airport it will become even less affordable.
if not to the parking pricing, it is so much better than LAX or SNA. Ontario city just want to make big buck.

Hi Melanie
Just had my Bday party at HDPs....so awesome. Let me know when you are in the area so we…Read More can do lunch!!!

I always liked shopping at this F & E, especially enjoyed picking up their sale items. When it…Read More first opened it was usually almost empty, but in later years there were a sizeable number of customers.
The two things I DIDN'T like were the fresh produce wrapped in styrofoam and plastic, and not enough selection of sundry items. Also, if they had more "gourmet" items offered as Trader Joe's does, more people would be inclined to shop there.
I don't care one iota if the business was British or not. I just liked an alternative place to shop and avoid the hoo haa of the bigger grocery stores. So I'll be sad to see them go.

Hi everyone! Just following up on the Sprouts petition! I sent the petition and gotten a reply. It's…Read More a good reply, so hoping a Sprouts will open in the near future!

Dear Mimi,
We are do honored that you have started a Sprouts Petition this is the first time I have ever seen a city really show that they want Sprouts to become part of their neighborhood! I have passed your email to the executive assistant of the Sprout store development. Thank you so much for your persistence and I hope that the decision makers will finally make the choice to have a Sprouts in your area. If you have any other questions please contact customer relations.
Best Regards,
Raquel

Any other ideas to bring them to DB/WAL is welcomed!!

Nothing new... LA County has always been a mess. In fact the whole
state has always been a mess!

On with the Sequester. Obama is totally screwing the US and the media gives him nothing but…Read More 'passes'. I am actually glad this is true. The public really should be rioting now because of the total screwing they are getting. Stock market at an all time high. Glad Joe the Plumber is getting rich off his stocks. NOT. You have to be blind to see which side Obama is on. Hey, who is on DWTS tonight. $4.29 gas. Its OK. Lemmings. Hahaha.

Diamond Bar CrossFit just opened up where the old Payless use to be (Next to Kmart and Autozone).…Read More Great staff and an even better workout!

10% of the population signed for Trader Joe's? Dude... that's pretty sad.

Worst food poisoning ever was from a Taco Bell in Temecula several years ago. Take your chances…Read More people.

...Or you could have lunch at a real Mexican Restaurant and have authentic flavored tacos, rather…Read More than fad-flavored American tacos. Shredded beef on a soft tortilla, Yummm. Please write it up... Southern Ca. excels at restaurants.

Read this case. Since when can an employee not show up to work and that not be a resignation?…Read More Employers have rights too to run a business. Cali really is the land of fruits and nuts for the jury that voted for this. Is no one accountable for their actions Ms. Rodriguez?
Robert Corona February 18, 2013 at 05:14 pm
Totally ridiculous!!! juries sleep half the time... I been on a couple where we would
do happy hour…Read More after everydays sessions....
What a joke this is... regardless of who owns the company.
Appeals galore here.. hope she dont spend it beforehand.
If she has a mental disablility, doubt she will be a registered nurse.
Maybe buy a clinic or something.
Melanie R. Brooks February 16, 2013 at 02:02 pm
Hopefully the appeals process will be reported on this case. As law history has indicated,…Read More individuals of this caliber, who look to benefit from these outlandish lawsuits do indeed get their day in court. They may be surprised however at the outcome. For now, it's 15 minutes of fame...
Melanie R. Brooks February 14, 2013 at 05:03 pm
Only in California...
Juror's should be required to pass a basic test in order to serve.
Reputable…Read More companies are being penalized not only as a result of fraudulant claims, but also by the guidleines adherent to jury selection. Thank goodness for the appeals process. Sadly these lawsuits result in higher rates for we the people who actually are willing to work for a living.

I worked at that Ralph's location, and although they carried a large variety of organics and no…Read More added preservative products, the cliental only purchased the cheap sale items. The customers who shop in the Diamond Bar area are equity rich but living paycheck to paycheck and need a cheap alternative. I agree a Walmart center would be very successful in this location based on previous experience with the shoppers in this area. If its not on the advertisement, or marked down, it was not purchased.
Allen Andrews February 5, 2013 at 06:01 pm
This is a tough one. They have a lot of positives going for them. When you walk in you know you…Read More are going to get in and out without any hang-ups at the checkout counter. You know you are going to get the lowest prices on produce not what happens to be on sale like the larger chain supermarkets. It is a matter getting that message to the general public. TV advertising costs huge sums of money, which they probably can't afford. I think just wait it out and let word of mouth and loyality turn the tide.
