@ Fortified comment: "The ones who made comments grouping all religious people, and/orRead More religions as bad, yet claim it is for the intolerance of religion..........are taking the 10% and burdening 100% of believers. THAT is the definition of intolerance. -------lets be clear-----You can't take 10% of something, and smear 100% in the name of tolerance------." I could not agree more with this statement. Not all Christians are Westboro Baptists. Not all Muslims are jihadists. Not all white heterosexual men are pedophiles. Not all Mormons or Christians are against gay marriage (I am living proof of that). Not all atheists are anti-religion. Religion does, however, tend to lump people into the "right" and "not right" category which is not only an elitist attitude but also an inflammatory one. And every religion claims to be "right." As for the PEOPLE within those different religions; not all treat people from other religions (or no religion) that way. Understand, however, that there is a difference between saying "you are hateful for trying to outlaw my love for another person" and "you are going to burn in hell forever and ever and ever." Even if that person believes it to be true, most often those words are used from a personal anger rather than a true concern for the person.

The last article I read was by a 104-yr-old woman who said, "Four shots of whiskey a day. OneRead More in the morning, one at noon, and two before bedtime." Moral: Nobody knows anything about longevity.

This guy looks a lot like me. With some minor differences. He's taller than me, more muscles,Read More better clothes, better looking. But on the plus side I have a nice round stomach. Other than he's balck and I'm white we could be identical twins.

CC, I was just stating my opinion of Boy Scouts as a group on camping trips ! I do respect them,Read More but I'm also saddened to see the problems they cause when they don't have either enough or proper leadership! Please re-read my entire comments! As an organization they are great! As individuals doing good they are great! But in some situations they have been rude and down right destructive and I blain it not on the individual's or Scouts as a group but on the leadership or lack at the particular time. It's a skill I'm suggesting they need to work on. You can disagree with me, it's your right, but please give me the curtesey to read my entire posting before you comment. Thank you!

Sorry, Ray. Did not mean to sound so critical. And I did read your entire post. These are justRead More kids and kids are noisy when they are having fun. Including the leaders. The alternative is them sitting home getting bored and getting into trouble.
Ray Russell March 1, 2014 at 01:19 pm
Vito, sorry but comment was directed towards CC. I have worked with groups of kids including my own.Read More And yes they are noisy but that's not the only way to have fun and it's not what I was complaining about. Like I said they do great deeds, but they also do great environmental damage when in poorly led or controlled groups. I've witnessed dumping of garbage and waste into waterways, trees chopped on and carved up to practice knife and axe skills etc. and campsites left in near ruin by scouts. And more than once. I've seen it offten enough that I make it a point to stay away from these groups if I can. I don't blame the kids, but the leadership of these groups. My kids were always taught to respect nature and the environment and to leave it in at least as good a shape or better than what it was when they entered. And they still had fun. These values they still practice and pass on to their children.

Notice how the Libs are trying their best to smear Christie with this bridge issue. They know heRead More is able to beat Hillary in 2016 and it terrifies them. Don't think it will work. Compared to the Benghazi coverup, which should put Hillary in jail, this bridge issue is nothing.
RAYSAY January 11, 2014 at 10:07 pm
Well the 'Libs' aka globalist/socialist, are beyond hypocritical shame, there mantra of 'the endsRead More justifies the means' explains this mindset. To try and intelligently reason with the spiritually blind is futile at best.

I find it amazing how quick the anti-gun people jump on using any shooting incident to support theirRead More cause. And Vito while many anti-gun bills were defeated, several passed in California. One bans the use of lead in ammunition used for hunting! Another requires the registration of all guns that are purchased on or after Jan. 1 of this year. That includes hand guns, rifles, and shotguns! Both are steps in violating the Second Amendament ! They have gained another step towards their goal to end gun ownership by honest people. But they do nothing to help the mentally ill or to control the criminal gun user!

Amazing how Edison has money for scholarships but claims poverty when it comes to requesting rateRead More increases. They also cannot afford to keep their equipment maintenance up nor maintain their power plants. What a horrible company. Its management belongs in jail.

Cupcakes are not as popular as they used to be. Folks are moving on to other things such asRead More cronuts. Besides, cupcakes are not good for you.
Ray Russell December 16, 2013 at 10:42 am
What's the difference between measured and weighed? This article is shear nonsense ! Cupcakes areRead More a poor excuse as a cake substitute. They are dry lumps over loaded with frosting to make up for what is lacking in the cake. This just adds more sugar to rot teeth and to make more diabetic people. But I Guess that makes them a friend to dentists and doctors!
Vito Spago December 16, 2013 at 11:53 am
Weighed is most accurate because measured can be affected by whether the flour is packed or not.Read More However most kitchens do not have scales. To get accurate measured amounts my mother used to have to use a sifter. and sift the components first before measuring them. Have not seen a sifter in years. Neither a kitchen scale. Do not know how they make cakes from scratch anymore. I have a favorite recipe that is from scratch. Not sure how my wife makes it other than just packs the flour lightly in the measuring cup without sifting.

I think this is very cool. You can capture so much with a camera and show off your creativity. IRead More used to be in the hobby until I had kids, bought a house and joined the rate race. Enjoy it while you can.
