I love that stupid phrase "Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash." You canRead More travel at 200 miles per hour and be perfectly safe. There's a 99.99% chance that the biggest factor was stupidity, retardation, and/or texting (especially since it was a single vehicle incident).

Should it not state that crime is down 35% in early 2014 compared to last year? Besides that, it'sRead More only been a little over 3 months into this year. We have a long way to go!
kyle.cliffard April 9, 2014 at 09:45 am
Vito, you and Joe banana are two of the most uninformed, racist people on this board. I actuallyRead More feel bad for you two because it seems like all you do is live a miserable life where you complain about everything. You fail to recognize the fact that most crime like robberies and burglaries are being commited by people coming into walnut from Los Angeles, Pomona, etc. and not from people that live in Walnut. You and JoeBanana need to go down to your local station and tell them your name and address. Tell the "nazi" cops that you don't need their service and tell them not to respond to your house if there is ever an emergency.
Vito Spago April 9, 2014 at 10:08 am
Thank you. I just tell it like it is. Go to the realtors that do the most sales in Walnut. Ask themRead More how many Blacks and Latinos they have sold houses to. Ask them about redlining and if they think they should be prosecuted for redlining. I think Blacks and Latinos are steered away from Walnut by the Realtors. Totally racist and illegal. BTW, might have to do with the good crime stats but I wouldn't know.

first of all Mr. Joebanana, it is NOT taking away from police helping people. The police that doRead More these check points are PAID through the DMV! Not where you think it is coming from. Second, the police that do these check points are there on their day off!!!
joebanana April 8, 2014 at 10:49 am
So you're saying they're getting overtime? I'm sure this time isn't "donated". And, IRead More didn't sat "helping", I said "killing".

But you DO condone shooting unarmed individuals? You have to admit the gang mentality of theseRead More murderers, was extremely disturbing. The man had a RIGHT to a fair trial and due process before being executed. These murderers clearly violated this mans constitutional rights, clearly murdered him in cold blood, and their criminally insane "chief" called it "justified". HOW IN THE HELL CAN THAT BE JUSTIFIED? The man was NO threat, whatsoever. The murderers were babbling something about a knife, but as with the Ernesto Duenez(?) where the cop was screaming like a banshee "to drop the knife" which was eventually found in the back of the truck, after mysteriously appearing. Meaning Ernie didn't have possession of it when he was assassinated by an out, CLEARLY out of control, insane man. I stand by my statement "police are a DANGER to the public". I've NEVER had reason to call the police for any reason, and I NEVER will, because they've been known to assassinate the caller, because they were "confused". Confused people with guns isn't a good combination. And when they DO wake up in the morning thinking "well if I do kill someone on my shift I'll get away with it no question". That was pretty much the "whole video". They woke the man up and murdered him. Obviously there were no extenuating circumstances, or it would have been part of the video. There are longer versions of it on You Tube, but they all show basically the same thing, a man getting murdered by out of control thugs, then being abused after the fact.
joebanana April 5, 2014 at 09:51 am
It's obvious that they were thinking, there's no way this man is going to live. You could tell byRead More their posturing. That was a dead man as soon as they got out of the car. They had beanbags and a dog, the assault rifle was for doing what they set out for, assassinating some vagrant on 'federal land", because they CAN. And get away with it. They knew their "chief" would find it "justified", just as the DA, review board, and internal affairs, would. And they'd get to kill another day.

"Fraud investigators posed as homeowners"? So, "fraud" investigatorsRead More fraudulently misrepresented themselves as "homeowners"? Where's the crime? I'm an electrician, and I have to pay the state of Ca. to even seek employment, which I can't do because my certificate expired, and now I have to pay the state $200 so they'll let me look for work in a field I've been doing for 36 years before having to be "certified". Again where's the crime?
Ray Russell March 30, 2014 at 09:46 am

Yellowstone Volcano Eruption in 2014? Are Animals Are Fleeing Park As ‘An Alert’?Read More "“Biologists aren’t sure if there’s been a stunning decline in the herd or if other factors have skewed the tally,” he said. “Current Helium releases at 1000 times above normal. Complete media blackout. Herds of bison running for their lives on the public roadways and they were not being chased or rounded up, the bison were running down the mountain slopes onto roadways running right past a filming crew. Joebanana, I Apologize for calling you an idiot. Just frustrating when people always criticize copsRead More and don't see the good that they do. I guess they can never win. It's pretty much damned if you do, damned if you don't. The cops will get scrutinized for everything they do. The few bad cops ruin it for the 99% of cops doing the lord's work. I don't think you have to be afraid. If you have some common sense, follow orders, aren't out committing crimes, you won't get bothered by the police. Maybe there are more shootings because there are more criminals out there who don't care who they hurt or kill.
joebanana March 23, 2014 at 05:53 pm
I've been called worse, but, hey, we cool. Forgive me if I get argumentative, I was born and raisedRead More a New Yorker, it's in the blood. Frustration is a common state for me. The fraud in the white house and a complacent congress, who have indisputable evidence obama used forged documents to get on the ballot, and usurp the US presidency, REFUSE to open their own investigation. Excuse me if I go off topic for a moment, but dereliction of duty, obstruction of justice, aiding and abetting, conspiring to commit fraud, are some pretty horrific crimes individually, but at the same time equals a crime syndicate, not a "representative government". Obama was never vetted, and committed election fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, identity theft, cyber fraud, using forged documents to deceive, Social Security fraud, the SSN he is using was assigned to someone else, and it fails E-verify and SSNVS. He can't even be a janitor in the white house, legally. This is the biggest national security threat/breech this nation has ever faced, and "law enforcement" lets it continue on. Congress CAN'T do anything now, they're culpable. Maybe the economy has something to do with the level of desperation people are reaching these day's.
art vandelay March 23, 2014 at 07:37 pm
I see a lot of people like you nowadays, the birthers, conspiracy theorists, etc.. If that is whatRead More you guys believe, I'm not going to argue with you and try to change your mind. However, you and I both know that there are shady people in the GOP and the democratic party. Whole system is flawed. Lets just leave it at that...

Every kid that took part in that home invasion are guilty of vandalism. But the ones that plannedRead More and advertised the "happening" should have the book thrown at them. And it doesn't mater what house was invaded. It was a crime! And the guilty should receive the maximum punishment! Doesn't mater Joe how much money the home owners have or don't have. This was wrong, wrong, wrong!!!
RAYSAY March 22, 2014 at 02:59 pm
I don't think the owner is looking for sympathy, since your right he don't need it. He wants justiceRead More and as a society we should demand it also, and throw the parents in, for raising a bunch of ungrateful idiots.
joebanana March 22, 2014 at 04:51 pm
My point is, if this happened in La Puente, at some middle class house, would it be such a big deal?Read More I didn't say I condone what happened, I don't. I'm just saying "so what"? He couldn't even tell his neighbors he was going away, and ask them to keep an eye out? Granted nobody would even think such a thing could happen, but maybe the neighbor thought the owner was throwing a party. Otherwise hundreds of cars blocking the street wouldn't be suspicious?

Oh, this is just unacceptable, those juvenile delinquents should be drawn and quartered. And theRead More homeowner should get to beat each one with a belt individually while they're tied to a pole. What a totally stupid idea. Only one event in 2002 and one in 2013. 2 events in 11 years.Read More This sounds like a jobs program for overpaid and lazy city cops. They need to use senior citizens with K-9 attack dogs and pay them $15 an hour. Give them cell phones and be certain they are NON UNION. No need to abuse them with union dues.
joebanana March 17, 2014 at 08:32 am
What is needed is to DISARM ALL police. They're a danger to the public, and NOT PERMITTED by the USRead More Constitution. There is NO enumerated clause calling for armed thugs enforcing governmental policy with deadly force, NONE. Police are under NO obligation to "protect" anybody, they react to crime NOT prevent it, and kill way to many unarmec citizens for stupid reasons and are NEVER held accountable.

Why did this person have access to a car and it's keys? Someone wasn't doing their job!Read More Alzheimer's requires constant care and attention by care givers and carefull prevention of access to things that may hurt the patient. So when I hear these stories I wonder why they happen? This disease is the most terrible thing that can happen to a person! It not only steals the victim's health and life, but it steals the mind and memories earned durring a lifetime of living. These victims require full time care, and someone to watch over them full time. I hope with all my heart that this gentleman is found safe and soon!
