Millions of Californians will participate in the annual earthquake drill known as the Great California ShakeOut today.

The drill is scheduled for 10:17 a.m.

According to the Shakeout website, 9.3 million Californians are officially registered for the event, with just over 4.1 million participating in Southern California alone.
