The game where alumni comes back, homecoming queen is announced and the players create a great memory. It's week 8 and only two more games after this. We have Los Altos (2-1) this week and this is one of the toughest teams Walnut will play.
Two years ago Walnut hosted Los Altos for the 2011 Homecoming and Walnut won with the score 31-14. Los Altos came into the game number one in league and Walnut gave them their first lost that year.
This season Walnut is looking to repeat history after last weeks lost. The Mustangs offense has gotten a lot better this season so they're looking to put up points. Andy Coronado, Chase Clark and Robert Carillo combine with 925 yards. The run game will be a huge factor for the Mustangs. Also their defense will need to stop the run game and make Los Altos pass, but with Ashton Lizarraga and EJ Okora combine with 5 sacks. It doesn't seem a lot but these sacks have came huge factors in the game.
The Mustangs have the tools to beat LA but will it happen? We will see this Friday at Walnut. Kick off is at 7PM. See you at Homecoming!
